Queensland Motorcycle Panel and Paint is a long established boutique custom paint studio, established in 1996, we are a paint shop that specialises exclusively in refinishing Harley-Davidson motorcycles only. We are not like any other motorcycle spray-painting shops. Our custom paint processes, along with cutting-edge designs and coating techniques have become some of the best in the industry. We use and recommend PPG paints for all our paintwork, right through from primers, undercoats to colours and final clearcoats, the same paint that Harley-Davidson use in the factory when they painted your Harley when it was new. We also have regular visits from a dedicated PPG paint trainer, (who is actually a motorcycle enthusiast as well, rides a BMW, but we don’t hold that against him) to keep us updated on products and paint procedures as well. Chemical Skins for your Tins

at ‘QMPP’ we painstakingly paint all our logo’s and pinstripes on. this is either done by intricate stencils or by hand with a dagger liner and paint. Sure, this takes a bit longer to do then the computer cut vinyl stickers and stripes that a lot of other paint shops use, but this is what separates us from the rest. Most of the logo’s can be done in gold leaf as well to add another level of detail to your new paint set,,(we only use decals when doing factory ‘oem’ reproduction style paintwork.) as we like to say ‘we are a paintshop, we like to paint things here.

THE HARLEY-DAVIDSON FACTORY HAS ITS OWN PAINTSHOP IN THE STATES THAT COST WELL OVER 10 MILLION DOLLARS TO SET UP. JUST BECAUSE A PAINTER DOES WORK FOR A DEALERSHIP DOES NOT SIMPLY MEAN THEY HAVE BEEN APPROVED BY THE HARLEY-DAVIDSON FACTORY TO REPRESENT THEM. EVEN WITH ALL THE WORK WE DO HERE FOR DIFFERENT HARLEY-DAVIDSON DEALERS, WE ARE STILL NOT ‘AN APPROVED PAINTER’. THE REASON THAT WE ONLY PAINT HARLEY HERE IS SIMPLY BECAUSE WE ENJOY PAINTING HARLEY-DAVIDSON, COLLECTING COLOUR REFERENCE MATERIAL AND FACTORY RELATED PAINT ARTICLES IS PURELY A HOBBY THAT I ENJOY DOING.
