even though it was new we still strip all the paint off back to bare metal on these new bikes,,, (all paint has ‘film build specifications’, meaning you can not just keep painting over painted parts, the thickness of the paint becomes too great and starts to breakdown, loss of gloss and soft paint are just two of the problems we encounter, add the clear powder coat finish that harley has on the painted parts and before you know it, you have a real thick build up of paintwork waiting to fail)..

this candy green uses a dark metallic black base followed by a rich candy rainbow flake green sprayed over the base, to keep with the new bike feel we added the pinstripes in the original pattern in charcoal and new badges to seal the deal,,
